VAZZ Group has significant expertise in the design of environmentally responsible buildings. Our approach is to eliminate active systems wherever possible in favor of passive internal control methods such as natural ventilation, external shading and thermal mass. Working as part of a team we are able to balance our client's aspirations with engineering (and budgetary) constraints to design high performance, low energy building systems. To add value to a project we can carry out a whole life costing of the systems and utilities to assess ongoing and initial costs of maintenance, repair, servicing and operation, as well as social and environmental costs. This process can help the design team and the client choose between alternative designs, systems and strategies and so achieve cost control and certainty right from the start.

We are multi-disciplinary company and as such we can implement use of BIM in many ways and formats. Our main choice of software use is Autodesk Revit MEP and Fabrication MEP. We believe that we do make a difference by taking time to listen, learn and implement the relevant guidance from the lead developers of the BIM Software and Building Services environment and BIM demand. We took great care in understanding the differences and implications on non-use and use of BIM. Commissioning builds in quality during planning and design, follows with testing and verification during construction and continues monitoring during the first year of occupancy. Combine extensive field investigation, including field test measurement, combined with design analysis we can identify system operational problems with relative designer-constructor responsibility.
